About me

I studied design at Johannesburg Art College and textiles at Leggats Academy, these being my passion. I started in the back of large factories in downtown Johannesburg as an intern patternmaker and worked my way up. For 30 years I could create, sell, buy and source anything in the textile range , from clothing to home textiles. I travelled and met suppliers, visited remote factories and sold to large retailers. 

I have travelled to China, India, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mauritius. 

Once my children left home, I needed a new challenge. I enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life, so property was the natural choice as I had watched my father selling property in the Cape for years.

Once again, I started from the bottom, and since 2017 have worked towards becoming a full status agent with the help of wonderful mentors along the way. I love my profession and being flexible to meet buyers and sellers after hours or weekends is only a pleasure. The reward comes when a family moves into the home they have only dreamt about.

I have two wonderful sons and now two beautiful and intelligent daughters too. Family is important, and what is family without a place to call home! The place where you can put your feet up and enjoy the good things.

I enjoy being at home, reading or creating, gardening and sunshine, a good movie or a family feast. The simple things are still the best.
