The Villahermosa Palace was built between 1890 and 1900 by Ms. Maria del Carmen de Aragon-Azlor e Idiaquez, 15th Duchess of Villahermosa. Built in the image of its older brother, the Villahermosa Palace (now the Thyssen Museum) in neoclassical style, it is an example of a country house of the aristocracy of the 17th and 18th centuries. It has multiple buildings harmoniously linked by a beautiful consolidated garden in a romantic style, which contrasts with the style of the palace. From the majestic entrance hall, there is access to all the rooms on the floor, built in a circular shape around the hall. This style was replicated on the other floors.
